Il progetto OpenBSD è sistema operativo UNIX basato su 4.4 BSD ed è gratuito e multipiattaforma. OpenBSD supporta l’emulazione binaria di molti programmi da Solaris, FreeBSD, Linux, BSD/OS, SunOS e HP-UX.
