Calculate Linux

Calculate Linux sono tre distribuzioni Linux basate su Gentoo. Calculate Directory Server (CDS) è la soluzione per server che supporta Windows e Linux tramite LDAP + SAMBA. Calculate Linux Desktop (CLD) è una distribuzione per workstation disponibile  con KDE, GNOME o Xfce. Calculate Linux Scratch (CLS) è un live CD che permette di costruire la propria distribuzione.

Main changes

• All desktop environments were updated, namely KDE Plasma 5.25.5, Xfce 4.18, MATE 1.26.0, Cinnamon 5.6.5, and LXQt 1.2.
• We launched a new server flavour, Calculate Container Manager for running LXC containers.
• A new tool was added, cl-lxc. It allows you to create and update Calculate Linux containers.
• The cl-update tool now features mirror selection for binary packages.
• An availability test was added for Git repositories. Note that it is possible to switch between GitHub an Calculate Git.
• Portage path changed to /var/db/repos/gentoo.
• The new installer comes with a password complexity check.
• nano replaced by vi, included in the busybox package.
• Better detection for the proprietary Nvidia driver.
