Parted Magic
Parted Magic è una piccola distribuzione Linux live ( CD/USB/PXE) con lo scopo elementare di partizionare gli hard disk. Anche se GParted e Parted sono i programmi principali, il CD/USB offre anche altre applicazioni, come Partition Image, TestDisk, fdisk, sfdisk, dd, ddrescue, ecc.

This version of Parted Magic once again updates 100’s of core programs and adds some new ones requested by users. I have added bcachefs-tools, but I was not able find a kernel patch for Linux 5.12, so there isn’t any kernel support.
There is also some other news. This is the last version of Parted Magic in it’s current release format. Starting with the next release (in about 3 months), Parted Magic will take on the rolling release model. The One Year Subscription will be mostly unchanged. The other option will be a subscription service for $4 a month. Why is this better? You will be able to pay $4 a month and get fixes and updates. This lowers the price from $11 to $4 if you only need Parted Magic for a single one off project. All you have to do is log into your account and unsubscribe at any time. This new model isn’t any different than Hulu or Netflix. If you pay the $4 and cancel, you still get updates for a month. I don’t see any downside other than if you lose your download after you cancel, you’ll have to pay again to get a new one. Once again this isn’t any different than Netlix. For example, if you cancel your Netflix subscription you don’t get the content the following month. In other words, backup your download of Parted Magic.
Notable updated programs: linux-5.12.2, nvidia-driver-465.27, zfs-on-linux-2.1.0_rc4, clamav-0.103.2, clamtk-6.11, and thunar-4.16.8. All other programs were updated to Slackware current as of May 10th.
