Parted Magic

Parted Magic è una piccola distribuzione Linux live ( CD/USB/PXE) con lo scopo elementare di partizionare gli hard disk. Anche se GParted e Parted sono i programmi principali, il CD/USB offre anche altre applicazioni, come Partition Image, TestDisk, fdisk, sfdisk, dd, ddrescue, ecc.

This release is by far the most aggressively upgraded version in the history of the project. Nealy 800 programs have been updated. All new artwork, icons, and themes. At the same time there have been no major changes to the layout, so everybody should feel at home. The goal was to get everything up to date without causing regressions and discomfort. Parted Magic was never meant to be a play toy. It was designed to get things done and look somewhat cool with our Steampunk looking themes.
