Parted Magic

Parted Magic è una piccola distribuzione Linux live ( CD/USB/PXE) con lo scopo elementare di partizionare gli hard disk. Anche se GParted e Parted sono i programmi principali, il CD/USB offre anche altre applicazioni, come Partition Image, TestDisk, fdisk, sfdisk, dd, ddrescue, ecc.

• This version of Parted Magic updates some packages and adds some new ones. You’ll also notice our delivery service has changed from E-Junkie to DPD. Not only does it look better, but download performance is more reliable. The 1 Year Subscriptions no longer have to be mailed out every release. You can keep your original email to get your updated Parted Magic files. We’ll send out a simple email to let you know about stable releases. We also lowered the prices on all tangible goods and now calculate shipping. This is a better deal when you buy more than one item.
• The Network manager stack was upgraded to 1.0.8.
• Fstransform was added. This command line program converts one file system type to another. For example, XFS to EXT4.
• Isdct was added. This is the command line tool for managing and secure erasing newer Intel SSD and NVMe devices.
