Skolelinux è una distribuzione Linux basata su Debian orientata alle scuole e all’università. Contiene già profili di installazioni differenti per studenti o insegnanti. Fornisce diversi desktop enviroment anche se KDE è il predefinito.

• Improved TLS/SSL support inside the internal network.
• The Kerberos setup supports NFS and SSH services.
• A tool to re-generate the LDAP database is available.
• X2Go server is installed on all systems with profile LTSP-Server.
