OpenMandriva
La distribuzione OpenMandriva è un sistema Linux per server e desktop sponsorizzato dalla OpenMandriva Association. E’ basata su ROSA, una distribuzione Russa che nasce da un fork di Mandriva nel 2012. L’obiettivo di OpenMandriva è quello di facilitare la creazione, il miglioramento, la promozione e distribuzione del software open source.

The distribution ISO is bootable in BIOS or UEFI from usb stick or DVD and uses the Calamares installer to guide you through installation with the minimum of effort.
The ISO also offers a means of booting EFI partitions should they become inaccessible because of boot order changes.
This distribution has been sucessfully installed and run on a dual graphics chip notebook using Bumblebee.
A working i586 image is available however this will only install on genuine i686 boxes. If your machine is 64bit please use the relevant 64bit image.
OpenMandriva Lx 3.02 benefits from major updates and many minor fixes.
