Antergos è una distribuzione Linux basata su Arch Linux che precedentemente si chiamava Cinnarch perchè utilizzava il desktop manager Cinnamon , mentre ora ne utilizza diversi in alternativa. Lo scopo della distribuzione è di essere moderna, potente, elegante e bella.
Arch Linux è stato scelto per la sua velocità e leggerezza, ma Antergos si presenta come facile e facilmente configurabile (cosa che normalmente non viene associato ad Arch Linux).
